Flood Warning issued June 7 at 8:56AM CDT until June 10 at 8:38PM CDT by NWS Kansas City/Pleasant Hill MO

…The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Missouri…

Platte River near Agency affecting Buchanan County.

* WHAT…Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.

* WHERE…Platte River near Agency.

* WHEN…Until Wednesday evening.

* IMPACTS…At 20.0 feet, Low-lying areas east of Agency begin to
flood. At 25.0 feet, Flooding begins at the east border of Agency.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 8:30 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 27.4 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to fall below flood stage
Tuesday evening and continue falling to 11.0 feet Friday morning.
– Flood stage is 20.0 feet.

Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars
through flooded areas.
