KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KQTV)– The Kansas City Chiefs announced Friday morning that the team is moving on from its offensive coordinator.
In a social media post, the Chiefs thanked Matt Nagy for his time as the team’s offensive coordinator.
“Forever a Super Bowl champ. Thanks for everything, Coach Nagy!”
Nagy served as the Chiefs quarterback coach from 2013-2015. He was promoted to offensive coordinator in 2016.
Nagy left Kansas City in 2018 to become the Bears head coach. He was fired in 2021 and returned to Kansas City for the second time in 2022 as the senior assistant and quarterbacks coach.
Nagy was promoted back to offensive coordinator in 2023 until this past season.
Nagy won two Super Bowls (LVII and LVIII) with the Chiefs.
