Noel Hardin

Noel Hardin was raised in Maryville, Mo, where she went to numerous schools before settling down in Maryville High School before continuing her education at Northwest Missouri State University in pursuit of a Broadcasting Degree.

In high school, Noel was awarded for her work in the Speech & Debate club, winning scholarships for her written and performed oratorical speeches and humorous interpretations.

While in high school, Noel worked as an on-air DJ at Maryville’s local radio station, 97.1 KVVL Everything that Rocks and 95.9 KNIM Country, performing breaks and cut-ins during music sessions and 8-man football games.

While at Northwest, Noel worked at the college radio station, KXCV-KRNW, performing newscasts and breaks while pursuing her education.

These experiences helped Noel realize that broadcasting and public speaking are her passions, and she began working at KQ2 News in September of 2023.

In her spare time, Noel enjoys reading, playing video games, building model kits and bothering her cat.
