High school wrestlers Reece Dixon, Sophia Smith and Olivia Cunningham pass 100 career victories

(ST. JOSEPH, MO) - Some local high school wrestlers passed some major career  milestones this past week.

East Buchanan senior Reece Dixon picked up his 100th career victory in the East Buchanan Tri-Meet with Summity Christian Academy and Northeast KC back on Tuesday, February 10th. 

Dixon will find out if he wrestles at state on Saturday, February 21st at the Class 1 District 4 Meet in Lathrop.

For Mid-Buchanan High School, two girls wrestlers reached the 100 win mark. Juniors Sophia Smith and Olivia Cunningham passed the milestone at the Class 1 District 4 Meet in Kearney on Saturday, February 14th. 

Smith won the district title in the 135 pound weight class and Cunningham took second in the 105 pound weight class. Both will wrestle at state in Columbia on February 25th and 26th.
