MoWest's Higdon earns MIAA Hitter of the Week honor

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (KQTV) Missouri Western senior infielder Kalee Higdon put together an impressive week at the plate and for that, she has earned a MIAA honor.

Higdon hit .500 (7-14) with six runs scored and 10 RBI last week. The MIAA named her the MIAA Hitter of the Week on Monday. 

The Griffon senior added in two doubles and a home run while posting a .857 slugging percentage and a .533 on-base percentage. 

Higdon hit a grand slam against Southern Nazarene. 

On the bases, Higdon was 7-for-7 in stealing bases. 

Higdon and the Griffons are back on the field on Friday, Feb. 27 against Winona State at the 2026 Top Gun Midwest College Classic in Kansas City, Mo.
