Community Foundation of Northwest Missouri announces new President

ST. JOSEPH, Mo (KQTV) -- A local public charity organization has elected it's new President and CEO.

The Community Foundation of Northwest Missouri has announced James Fisher as the next individual to take the leading position.

The current and founding President, Mary R. Hinde, will stay in the position until the middle of May.

"It is a perfect time in our growth to hand off the organization to new leadership and continued expansion," Hinde said.

Fisher is an Agency, Missouri, native and has a 30 year career of non-profit leadership experience.

"The opportunity to return home and serve the Community Foundation of Northwest Missouri as President and CEO is both professionally exciting, and personally meaningful," Fisher said.
