Amped Up Pro Bull Riding Tour returns April 10 & 11

DOWNTOWN ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (KQTV) -- Amped Up Pro Bull riding has returned to the Civic Arena to bring action, competition, laughs, and excitement.

The unknown of the sport of bull riding is why Entertainer Jarrett Dougherty believes those looking for a good time should head to their shows on April 10 and 11.

"You never know what's going to happen. It's different every time. Every ball is different, so they turn out to buck. Every rider's different. And I'll tell you, it can go from 0 to 100 just like that," Dougherty said. "(My favorite part of working these is) just the joy of laughter. If I can make them laugh for just a little bit and, you know, just go, man. Life's not that serious, you know?".

Along with Bull Riding and entertainment, the shows include many different vendors of clothes, sponsored goods, food and more.

Doors opened at 6:00 pm on Friday for the show that started at 7:30 pm and goes until around 10:00 pm according to the website. They'll have more runs on Saturday with the fun beginning again at 7:30 pm.
