MSHP responds to crash on I-29 in Holt County

HOLT COUNTY, Mo. (KQTV) -- At 2:55 Saturday morning, a crash occurred in Holt County, at mile marker 68.2 involving a juvenile.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop H, a 16-year-old female juvenile was traveling northbound on I-29 in Holt County in a 2015 Jeep Cherokee.

The vehicle traveled off the left side of the roadway into the median and overturned on its top, coming to rest on its top, partially blocking the passing lane of northbound I-29, with total damage.

The driver suffered moderate injuries and was not wearing a safety device.

Highway Patrol was assisted by the Andrew County Sheriff's Office and Atchison/Holt EMS.
