Tracking T-storms on Friday

We are heading into Friday with a spring time set up for more showers and thunderstorms by the afternoon. Some of the thunderstorms by late in the afternoon could become severe so stay weather aware.

The day will start off warm with highs climbing into the lower 80's. There will be a mix of sun and clouds early on making for a decent start to the day. The winds will start to pick up by the afternoon which could end up gusting up to 35 to 40 mph.

By the afternoon and early evening there is a good chance for showers and thunderstorms and some could be on the strong to severe side. Some storms could contain heavy rain, gusty winds, and hail.
