Tracking a windy and warm Wednesday

Wednesday is shaping up to be a warm and pleasant day across northeast Kansas and northwest Missouri. We are expecting mostly sunny skies from the morning until the early afternoon, with temperatures climbing well above normal averages. Afternoon highs will be reaching into the upper 70's and lower 80's.

Winds will start to increase especially during the late morning and afternoon hours, with gusts reaching 35 mph. Humidity levels will remain moderate which will help with that muggy feeling.

As we move into the evening, temperatures will gradually cool into the 60's under mostly clear skies, making for a mild and comfortable night.
