Lafayette High School senior Jason Claycomb signs with Missouri Valley Track and Field

(ST. JOSEPH, MO) - Lafayette senior and track and field athlete Jason Claycomb signed with Missouri Valley College in Marshall.

Claycomb competes in the sprinter events for the Fighting Irish as well as in the 4x200 and 4x400 meter relay. Claycomb also leaped a mark of 6'2 in the high jump at the East Buchanan Invite back on April 6th of this year. That 6'2 mark is the second highest in Lafayette school history.

Claycomb was named 1st Team All-State as a junior last track season.
