Tracking a cooler Tuesday with rain chances

Good morning and happy Tuesday.

We’re starting off significantly cooler this morning about 20 degrees colder than yesterday. Temperatures are in the mid to upper 40s, with a northwest breeze gusting into the mid-20 mph range.

A cold front moved through yesterday and is now well to our south, helping keep highs in the 60s for the remainder of the workweek.

Today, there is a chance for light, scattered showers from late morning into the early evening hours. Not everyone will see rain, but a few passing showers are possible.

We dry out by Wednesday, with mostly sunny skies and highs returning to the mid-60s.

Another round of thunderstorms is possible by midday Thursday. After that, we dry out again for Friday and Saturday.

Temperatures will warm back into the upper 60s and 70s for the weekend and into early next week.
