Tracking scattered t-storm chances Thursday

A cool and sunny Wednesday afternoon will give way to chilly and dry conditions overnight, as a high-pressure system pushes across Northwest Missouri and Northeast Kansas. Thursday will bring an increase in cloud coverage with scattered showers and thunderstorm chances, especially for the afternoon. Dry skies return to finish out the work week and start the weekend, with temperatures remaining several degrees below average as highs remain in the 60s and overnight lows regularly fall into the upper 30s to low 40s.
