Tracking a sunny & warmer Thursday

Good morning and happy Thursday.

As you’re heading out the door, it’s another chilly start with temperatures in the mid-40s and a north wind adding to that cool feel.

Highs today will only reach the upper 50s to low 60s under mostly cloudy skies. There is a slight chance for a few light showers early this morning, but most areas will dry out by lunchtime, leaving us with cool and cloudy conditions for the rest of the day.

We may see a little bit of sunshine before sunset, but temperatures will drop back into the low 40s overnight.

Warmer weather returns Thursday, with highs in the low 70s, followed by mid to upper 70s on Friday. There is a slight chance for a few showers late Friday evening.

Our next better chance for rain arrives Saturday evening and continues overnight into early Sunday. Rain chances and cloud cover will decrease during the latter half of the day Sunday, so it’s not shaping up to be a complete washout.
