Brett Kennedy

(WESTON, MO) - West Platte High School has found their new boys basketball head coach. Former Dekalb girls coach Jackson Rumpf has accepted the role in Weston.

Rumpf has spent the last three seasons coaching the Lady Tigers, amassing a 34-43 record there. He also was the head track coach at Dekalb as well.

Before that time, Rumpf was an assistant coach at South Harrison for two seasons and an assistant at Mid-Buchanan four years before that. He now gets a fresh start with West Platte.

Rumpf takes over for Tyler Funk, who accepted the head basketball coach position at Smithville.
