Tracking a hot and sunny Friday, scattered strong storms tonight

A mild and dry start to Friday with temperatures in the mid to upper 60s and mostly sunny skies will give way to a hot afternoon as highs reach the low 90s with partly to mostly sunny skies. Scattered t-storm chances arrive Friday evening and into the overnight hours, a few storms may be severe with hail and gusty winds the primary hazards. Summer-like warmth, sunshine, and spotty t-storm chances continue through the weekend and early next week. Once again, any storms that develop through the next few days could be on the strong side. before a cooler and drier pattern returns in the extended forecast.
