Clarksdale Advancement Foundation, Pop’s Events preparing for 1-day small town festival

CLARKSDALE, Mo. (KQTV) -- Two organizations are preparing to put on a one-day small town festival again later this month.

The Clarksdale Advancement Foundation and Pop's Events will present the 2026 Hootin' & Hollerin' Celebrates America's 250th.

"Let's put it out there," said Natascha Hays, the Clarksdale Advancement Foundation director. "Let's get everybody involved and get people out of the house and out of their phones."

The Hootin' & Hollerin' started last year as a way to get families and friends together in Clarksdale.

The creators of the event said that it's all about having fun together. The event takes place from 10 am until 10pm on Saturday, May 30th at the Clarksdale, Mo. ballfield.

The festival takes place from 10 am until 4 pm with concerts starting at 4pm until 10pm. The performers will include local group Mixology, the Voice contestant Trevor Dawson returns again this year, and the event's headliner is CeCe Frey.
