Tracking a cooler weekend forecast

Another beautiful spring day across northeast Kansas and northwest Missouri on Wednesday. We will start the day with a mix of sun and clouds and temperatures in the low to mid 40's. By the afternoon we will break into mostly sunny skies and our high temperature will once again only make it into the mid 60's.

There may be a few scattered showers and thunderstorms that develop late in the evening but that looks to be in far northwest Missouri and do not look to be severe at any point.

As we head into Thursday we will start to see an increase in our chances for showers and thunderstorms with the best chances happing as we head into the late afternoon and early evening hours. The chances for precipitation will continue into your Friday.
