Tracking scattered t-showers Friday night, mostly sunny and warmer weekend

Scattered t-showers and considerable cloud coverage will continue across Northwest Missouri and Northeast Kansas Friday evening and overnight, as a wave of low pressure passes through the region. Rain chances will range from 20% to 40% through early Saturday morning, with light winds and lows in the upper 50s to low 60s. Aside from a slight chance of showers Saturday morning, a dry-out will take place through the weekend along with a gradual return of sunshine and warming temperatures. Partly cloudy skies will prevail Saturday with afternoon highs in the upper 70s. Plenty of sunshine and afternoon 80s settle into the area Sunday and Memorial Day, before spotty t-storm chances return for the upcoming work week.
