Car crashes into church

(KQTV) St. Joseph, Mo. - A car struck a church at 1222 N. 18th Street around 1:40 a.m. according to the St. Joseph Police Department.

SJPD said they first got a call for an injury accident at the scene.

The two who occupied the vehicle sustained no injuries, according to police.

SJPD assessed the damage at the Central Assembly of God, which was the church the car hit.

It was reported that a vehicle hit the AC unit but there was no damage to the building.

SJPD arrested the male driver on accounts of intoxication.

The investigation is ongoing.
