Flood Warning issued June 5 at 1:13PM CDT until June 10 at 8:22PM CDT by NWS Kansas City/Pleasant Hill MO

…The National Weather Service in Pleasant Hill MO has issued a
Flood Warning for the following rivers in Missouri…

Platte River near Platte City affecting Platte County.

Platte River At Sharps Station affecting Platte County.

* WHAT…Moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Platte River near Platte City.

* WHEN…From Saturday evening to Wednesday evening.

* IMPACTS…At 20.0 feet, cropland near State Highway 92 near Platte
City begins to flood.
At 22.0 feet, flooding occurs at Humphreys Access Area which is
located 5 miles downstream from Platte City. 300 acres of pasture
are also flooded.
At 25.0 feet, water overtops 1st Street in Tracy, Missouri.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 12:30 PM CDT Friday the stage was 3.7 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late tomorrow evening to a crest of 25.5 feet early Monday
afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage Tuesday
evening.
– Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
