Flood Warning issued June 5 at 10:15PM CDT until June 7 at 11:30PM CDT by NWS Kansas City/Pleasant Hill MO

…The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Missouri…

Grand River near Chillicothe affecting Linn and Livingston
Counties.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Grand River near Chillicothe.

* WHEN…From this evening to late Sunday evening.

* IMPACTS…At 24.0 feet, Low-lying cropland floods.
At 28.0 feet, Rural roads are under water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 9:45 PM CDT Friday the stage was 24.8 feet.
– Forecast…The river will fall below flood stage to 23.6 feet
tomorrow morning. It will then rise above flood stage late
tomorrow morning to 24.3 feet tomorrow evening. It will fall
below flood stage again late tomorrow evening to 8.0 feet
Monday evening. It will then rise to 8.4 feet Tuesday
morning. It will fall again and remain below flood stage.
– Flood stage is 24.0 feet.

Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
