St. Joseph Mustangs obliterate Chillicothe in just seven innings

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (KQTV) - The St. Joseph Mustangs baseball team is starting to find its rhythm from the domination its had in past seasons as the team won in just 7 innings for the second straight game. The Mustangs rocked the Chillicothe Mudcats 16-1 on Thursday night.

Leading the way was Brayden Luikart, the Lafayette High School alum finished 4-for-5 with 4 RBI including a 2-run home run in the 4th inning. Charles Stevens finished 2-for-4 with 2 RBI.

The Mustangs improve to 5-3 on the season and are back at Phil Welch Stadium on Friday, June 12th hosting the North Missouri Natty's at 7 pm.
