Tracking a sunny and warmer Friday

It looks like we will be ending the week with lots of sunshine across northeast Kansas and northwest Missouri on Friday. Sunshine will dominate the forecast from start to finish , with comfortable morning temperatures in the mid 60s warming into the mid 80s by the afternoon.

Humidity levels will stay on the low side with readings in the upper 50s and lower 60s making it a great day to be outside. By Friday evening, temperatures will slip back into the 70s under mostly clear skies making for a great Friday night.

Looking ahead the heat and humidity begin to return to the area over the weekend, with thunderstorm chances increasing Saturday night.
