ST. JOSEPH, Mo (KQTV) -- A local supplement store welcomed a familiar St. Joseph face while celebrating a milestone for their business.

Fit Republic, owned by Central High School graduate Austin Evans, opened its doors ten years ago in St. Joseph.

From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Kansas City Royals pitcher Noah Cameron signed autographs and took pictures with fans inside the store.

"I fully represent St. Joseph, and will never turn away from St. Joe," Cameron said. "It just means a lot to me to be able to represent everyone for my career every day."

Cameron visited St. Joseph and Fit Republic on his day off, and will take to the field against the St. Louis Cardinals on Sunday, June 21st.

Fit Republic is next to Planet Fitness on the South Belt Highway.
