Tracking more heat for Thursday

Well we are heading into another very hot and humid summer day across northwest Missouri and northeast Kansas. High temperatures will once again make it into the lower 90s but with the humidity levels in the 70s it will feel like 105 to 110 degrees across the area.

We can expect a mixture of sunshine and a few high clouds throughout the day. While most locations will stay dry, the combination of the intense heat and humidity will make it feel very uncomfortable. There will be an outside chance that we see a scattered shower or thunderstorm late in the day or early evening.

An Extreme Heat Warning remains in effect through Friday evening with a cool down coming our way as we head into the weekend. Sunday we will see high temperatures in the upper 80s and lower 90s.
