Colombia only needs one goal to take down Ghana in World Cup Round of 32 stage in Kansas City

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KQTV) - The Colombia soccer team knocked out Ghana 1-0 in the World Cup Round of 32 Stage in Kansas City on Friday night.

Jhon Arias gave Colombia the lead 14 minutes into the game, Ghana's defense slowed the game down but the team just couldn't find any offense in the second half to try and get any goals through.

Colombia now advances to face Switzerland in the Round of 16 Stage on Tuesday, July 7th at 3 pm in Vancouver, Canada.

Kansas City will host one more World Cup match in the Quarterfinal round on Saturday, July 11th at 8 pm, whoever wins the Switzerland/Colombia match will advance to play in that game in Kansas City.
