Tracking a warm and humid Wednesday

Good morning and happy Wednesday!

As you're heading out the door this morning, we're looking at mainly quiet conditions across St. Joseph. It's another warm and muggy start, with temperatures only falling into the upper 70s and lower 80s overnight.

We're also tracking a few scattered showers developing across northeastern Kansas. Those could bring a few spotty showers to parts of our area this morning, mainly west of Interstate 29. If you're heading to training camp, keep the umbrella handy, but it won't be a washout.

By this afternoon, highs climb to around 89 degrees. It'll still be warm and humid, but not as oppressive as earlier this week. A few isolated showers are possible, mainly north of Highway 36, while many locations stay dry.

Our best chance for more widespread rain arrives Thursday into Friday as another cold front moves through. Behind it, we'll see lower humidity, sunshine, and comfortable temperatures in the middle to upper 80s just in time for the weekend. It should be a beautiful few days to get outside!
