Chiefs Kingdom details expectations for the 2026 NFL season

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (KQTV) -- Hundreds of Kansas City Chiefs fans showed up to watch the team for the third day of padded practice at training camp.

Despite the Chiefs going 6-11 last season, the Chiefs Kingdom is still confident that the four-time Super Bowl champions can get back to their winning ways.

"We got a chance to rest last year, we're hungry and I'm looking forward to it," Kansas City Chiefs fan Stuart Hunt said. "I think this will be the best team that the Chiefs put on the field in the Patrick Mahomes era."

One of the biggest boosts of confidence that the Chiefs have acquired since last season is reigning Super Bowl MVP Kenneth Walker III.

Walker III has a large portion of the fanbase anticipating what he can bring to the Chiefs' offense.

"I think that Kenneth Walker can bring us some confidence and some hope knowing that we can give him the ball, and he can give us a few touchdowns," Chiefs fan Henry Zucker said.

The Chiefs are back on the practice field at MoWest Friday morning for another day of training camp.
