Woman injured after being stabbed at Museum Hill Apartments

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (KQTV) -- One individual was arrested following a Sunday stabbing that injured a woman at Museum Hill Apartments.

Around 6:20 p.m., the St. Joseph Police Department responded to 1214 Angelique St. for a report of a stabbing.

According to the SJPD, the victim, an adult woman, was transported to Mosaic Life Care.

In an email statement to KQ2 News, the victim said her injuries were life-threatening. Residents in the area said they noticed multiple stab wounds around her neck and face.

SJPD does not believe there is an ongoing threat to the public. The incident remains under investigation.

The department said no additional information is being released at this time.
