St. Joseph police respond to multiple shots fired on S. 33rd Street

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (KQTV) -- St. Joseph police responded to multiple shots fired in the area of South 33rd Street just after 12:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 11.

According to an officer on the scene, SJPD received multiple calls for shots fired around 12:30 a.m. in the area of South 33rd Street between Mitchell Avenue and Duncan Street.

Police said that two vehicles left the area at a high rate of speed.

Upon arrival, officers found numerous shell casings on the roadway.

At this time, police do not believe anything has been struck.

No injuries have been reported.
