Tracking more Heat on Thursday

We could start Thursday off once again with a few scattered showers and thunderstorms across Northeast Kansas and Northwest Missouri. Not everyone will see the rain but those who do will see a little bit of a break in the heat that is set to move in.

By your Thursday afternoon temperatures will start to climb back up into the upper 80s and lower 90s with the high topping out at 95 degrees. we could see some late afternoon storms develop and cool us down just a bit before we start to heat right back up.

By Friday we will still be in the 90s for highs but i think we will get more of a break from the heat because of the cloud cover and the better chances for rain in the forecast.
