Daniel Byford

Daniel (Dan) was born in Virginia and moved A LOT growing up.

At some point, he realized the odds of making it as a Major League Baseball player were slim and pivoted his focus toward a career in media.

He attended Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, graduating in 2019 with a major in Broadcast and Digital Journalism.

Dan worked part-time, seasonal, and contract jobs in Vermont, New Hampshire, and Texas, on the radio and in streaming, before moving to Missouri in 2024. He started with News-Press and Gazette in June of that year.
