Central High School boys soccer gets home opening win over rival Benton

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (KQTV) - The Central High School boys soccer team had its home opener at Noyes Field Wednesday night against rival Benton. The Indians came away with a 5-1 victory.

Senior Daniel Duran Moyeda scored just 6 minutes into the game for Central, senior Graham Addington later added the second goal of the game to put the Indians up 2-0 at the half. Central added 3 more goals in the second half.

Central improves to 1-1 on the season and next plays at Savannah on Tuesday, September 8th at 5 pm. Benton falls to 0-1 and will next host Odessa on Thursday, September 3rd at 5 pm on Sparks Field.
