Doniphan West High School volleyball wins Tri-Meet with Riverside and Troy

ELWOOD, Ks. (KQTV) - The Riverside High School volleyball team hosted Troy and Doniphan West for a Tri-Meet in Elwood, Kansas on Thursday evening.

In the first game, Doniphan West swept Riverside 2-0, (25-23, 25-13).

In the second game, Doniphan West swept Troy 2-0, (25-12, 25-14). The Lady Mustangs finished the tournament 2-0 without dropping a set.

In the final match of the night, Troy defeated rival Riverside 2-1 in 3 sets, (25-16, 16-26, 27-25). The Lady Trojans finish 1-1 in the meet.

Doniphan West improves to 4-1 on the season and next hosts Blue Valley on Tuesday, September 15th at 5 pm.

Troy improves to 3-3 on the season and will next host Great Bend on Saturday, September 12th at 2 pm.

Riverside drops to 1-4 on the year and plays at Jefferson County North on Tuesday, September 15th at 5 pm.
