Trojans top Bishop LeBlond Friday night

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (KQTV) -- After falling behind 12-0 at the end of the first quarter, the Troy Trojans battled back to defeat the Bishop LeBlond Golden Eagles on Friday night.

The Trojans beat Bishop LeBlond 36-26.

Troy outscored the Golden Eagles 36-14 in the final three quarters. The Trojans scored two quick touchdowns in the second quarter to take their first lead, 14-12, and carried that lead into halftime.

In the third quarter, both teams found the end zone, and Troy held a one-score lead, 22-20, going into the fourth quarter.

In the final 12 minutes, Troy added two more scores to put the game out of reach, 36-26.

The Trojans improve to 2-0 on the season, and LeBlond falls to 1-2.
