Northwest Football stays unbeaten after taking down Washburn in home opener

MARYVILLE, Mo. (KQTV) -- Northwest Missouri State University Football (No.7) took down the Washburn Ichabods in the team's home opener on Saturday.

Bearcats stave off an attempted Ichabod second-half comeback by a score of 31-24. This improves the team's record to 2-0 to start the season.

Northwest will be back at home for a bout against Missouri Southern on September 19 at 1:30 pm.
