Tracking Showers and Storms on Wednesday

Get the umbrellas ready because Wednesday is shaping up to be a cloudy, humid and rainy day across northeast Kansas and northwest Missouri.

Showers and a few thunderstorms will be possible at times throughout the day, with temperatures only climbing into the mid 70s. Rain could become more widespread Wednesday night, and some of it may be locally heavy.

A Flood Watch will be in effect beginning early Wednesday morning as rounds of thunderstorms could lead to ponding on the roads and localized flooding concerns. The wet pattern will continue into Thursday before cooler and drier air moves in.
