Tracking a Cloudy and Rainy Thursday

Thursday will be a day when you will need to keep that umbrella close across northeast Kansas and northwest Missouri as we will once again see rounds of showers and thunderstorms move in and out of the area.

Showers are expected to be fairly widespread through the day with periods of heavier rain possible at times. We will continue to be under a Flash Flood watch until Friday morning and we could see anywhere between 2 and 4 inches of rain. We cant rule out a few rumbles of thunder but the main severe weather threat appears to be low here in northwest Missouri and northeast Kansas.

Temperatures will be cooler with all the clouds around and the rain will help keep us on the cool side as well. High temperatures will only be in the upper 60s and lower 70s.

The winds could get gusty at times as the cold front its self moves into the area. Friday looks good with plenty of sunshine and cooler temperatures.
