Tracking a Sunny and Dry Friday

Mike Bracciano KQ2

After the rain and storms move out of northeast Kansas and northwest Missouri we will finally get a chance to dry things out across the area.

we will start the morning on the cool side with temperatures around the lower 50s. Sunshine quickly takes over the morning and afternoon, but it will definitely feel cooler than what we have been used to lately.

Look for mostly sunny skies by Friday afternoon and our high will be right around 68 degrees. A northeast wind will blow around 10 to 20 miles per hour.

Friday evening looks great for any outdoor plans. Skies will stay clear as temperatures will fall through the 50s, eventually dropping to around 47 degrees overnight. The weekend looks to be sunny and mild with highs in the upper 60s and lower 70s.
