Tracking lots of sunshine on Thursday

Mike Bracciano KQ2

Well another fantastic fall day across Northwest Missouri and northeast Kansas on Thursday. We will have plenty of sunshine and temperatures will be running a bit warmer than normal for early October.

We will start the morning on the cool side with temperatures once again in the mid 50s, so you will need that light jacket as you head out the door. You won't need it very long as we will really start to warm up during the day.

By the afternoon we will see a lot of sunshine as temperatures will start to climb into the 60s and 70s. Afternoon highs should reach around 79 to 81 degrees.

The winds will stay fairly light, becoming more out of the east to southeast around 5 to 10 miles per hour. By Thursday night we will see mostly clear skies but a few clouds might make it back into the area and temperatures will gradually drop into the lower 60s.
