Tracking a seasonable Monday & warming trend

Abigail McCluskey

Good morning, and happy Monday!

We’re starting the day with temperatures in the low to mid-40s across northwest Missouri and northeast Kansas. Highs will climb into the upper 60s this afternoon, right around seasonal averages.

Expect partly to mostly cloudy skies today, with a very low chance of a few spotty showers through midday. Most of us will likely stay dry, and some of the moisture may simply result in increased cloud cover.

Overnight lows will drop into the mid- to upper 40s.

Tuesday will bring warmer and sunnier conditions, with highs climbing into the low 70s. Mostly sunny to sunny skies will continue through the rest of the workweek as temperatures warm into the upper 70s by Thursday and Friday.

A cold front is expected to move through over the weekend, bringing another chance for a few showers. Temperatures will remain mild, with highs in the low 70s by Sunday. Above-average temperatures look to continue into early next week.
