Tracking a warm & mostly dry weekend ahead

Abigail McCluskey

Good morning and happy Friday! We are wrapping up the workweek with another beautiful, unseasonably warm day across northwest Missouri and northeast Kansas! Expect plenty of sunshine today with temperatures climbing into the upper 70s, and a few spots could even approach 80 degrees! That puts us about 10 to 15 degrees above average for this time of year.

Looking ahead to the weekend, those warmer-than-normal temperatures will stick around with highs in the mid to upper 70s and dry conditions expected. We’ll start to see a few more clouds move in early next week, along with slightly cooler temperatures. A small chance for a few showers is possible Monday evening across far northwest Missouri and northeast Kansas, but most of us will stay dry. Enjoy this beautiful stretch of October weather!
