Tracking increasing clouds and early-week warmth

Unseasonably warm air and dry skies continue across Northwest Missouri and Northeast Kansas Sunday and Monday, with increasing clouds giving way to slight rain chances by Tuesday. Highs near 80 and partly sunny skies Sunday afternoon will give way to more clouds and cooler air overnight with lows in the 50s and light winds. Considerable cloud coverage Monday morning is replaced by periods of sunshine for the afternoon with highs in the upper 70s. A weak front will bring additional clouds and a slight chance of scattered showers on Tuesday. Highs Tuesday will top out in the mid to low 70s, still around 10 degrees above average for late October.
