Tracking Friday rain and t-storm chances

Showers and thunderstorms have returned to Northwest Missouri and Northeast Kansas Friday morning, making for a soggy start to the day. Widespread wet weather will give way to more dry time for the afternoon with mostly cloudy skies and highs ranging from the upper 60s to low 70s. Scattered rain chances return Friday evening and continue into parts of Saturday along with considerable cloud coverage and highs near 70 degrees. Trick-or-treaters should be prepared for the possibility of showers Saturday evening, although a washout is not expected.
