What you need to vote before heading to the polls in November

KQ2

BUCHANAN COUNTY, Mo. (KQTV) -- Election day is only 4 days away, here's what Missouri and Buchanan County residents need to know.

Missouri requires a valid photo ID to vote in person.

That means a Missouri driver's license, a Missouri non-driver ID, a U.S. passport, or a military ID.

A voter ID card issued by your local election authority also works.

Utility bills and other non-photo documents are not accepted at the polls.

If you don't have an acceptable photo ID, you can still vote with a provisional ballot, but you'll need to return with valid ID before the polls close for it to count.

Any questions can be referred to your local election office.
