Tracking Tuesday’s Showers and T-Storms

Mike Bracciano KQ2

Tuesday is shaping up to be another unsettled day across Northwest Missouri and Northeast Kansas as showers and thunderstorms will be possible through out the day. Rain and thunderstorms will be possible overnight Monday into early Tuesday morning with better chances for more showers and thunderstorms by the afternoon.

We don't expect much sunshine Tuesday as a very strong storm system makes its way into the area and hangs around for the day and into the night. It wont rain all day but we could have periods of showers and thunderstorms for the afternoon and early evening hours.

One of the bigger weather stories will be the changing temperatures. We could reach a high of 68 degrees around midday but by the afternoon we will see those temperatures fall and by late afternoon temperatures will be in the upper 50s by the evening commute.

Along with the cooler temperatures , breezy conditions will develop during the afternoon. The winds could gust to near 25 miles per hour. By the evening temperatures will drop into the upper 40s and we still could see some additional showers as well.
