Darren grew up in Andrew County, Missouri, and attended Savannah High School.

He recently graduated from Missouri Western State University with a Bachelor's degree in Convergent Journalism and Public Relations.

Darren joined KQ2 in 2023, where, in addition to reporting news around the area, Darren assists the sports department in covering local athletes' stories.

In his spare time, Darren enjoys hanging out with family, catching up on his favorite teams and playing video games.
