Jared Shelton

Jared Shelton is the Weekend Meteorologist for KQ2's Storm Tracker Weather.

He joined the Storm Tracker Weather team in January of 2022 after graduating from the University of Georgia with a degree in atmospheric sciences and geography.

Jared has a passion for all things weather and appreciates the variable climate of Northwest Missouri and Northeast Kansas. Because he’s from the south, Jared admittedly loves forecasting and experiencing snowfall events.
