Mike Bracciano

KQ2 Chief Meteorologist Mike Bracciano has been with the station for over 35 years. 

He is committed to serving the viewers in the Midland Empire and keeping them up to date about weather in the area.

Mike speaks to students at local schools, gives tours of the station and Weather Center to clubs and groups. He is regularly a guest speaker at community events.

During his free time, Mike is an active member of a bell choir, enjoys watching all sports (especially the Chiefs, Royals, Sporting KC, college football and basketball), and is an aspiring and very amateur BBQ pit-master.

Mike and his wife have four children and two grandchildren. A true highlight is when all his family can spend time together.
